You already know that the human brain is a very complex piece of equipment. You also know that there are many makes and models out there. What if you were able to increase your knowledge and use this understanding to make your teaching even more effective?
In this workshop you will discover your own personality type and those of your colleagues. Understanding your own type and increasing your awareness of how people use these preferences is invaluable for the world of education. We look at how psychological type (Jung) affects both teaching and learning styles, giving you new information and ideas for lesson planning and content delivery. The MBTI® is also an ideal training tool to help develop both your SMT and your staff mentors.
The MBTI® is the world's most widely used personality questionnaire and is based on the work of psychologist Carl Jung and his theory of opposites. It is not a test – it indicates your clarity for a set of preferences we all have and use. We will explore:
the differences in how people are energised and interact with the world the differences in the way people prefer to take in information the differences in how people prefer to use that information how these preferences effect structure and order in our outside world.
